Five hours before the discovery of patient zero
My trembling hand was weak against the trigger. The cold metal of the gun's barrel pressed against my head. I barely heard Scott screaming at me to pull the trigger over my own thoughts telling me not to, but I wasn't one for risks. I slammed the gun on the table first, then my money. They both rolled across the table as though there was butter smeared across it. Scott looked at me with a satisfied smirk.
"Well, then," Scott said to the rest of the platoon around us. "Looks like we find yet another man that can't handle the game of Russ

Shepard looked into the Galaxy Map in front of him, knowing that Tali had supposedly wanted to see him. As he went through the tedious, boring process known as planet scanning, she stayed in his mind. The way she walked, the way she stood by the drive core no matter what everyone else was doing on the ship. Except when Shepard called her up to his cabin. That was the only time, to his knowledge, that she had ever left the engineering deck. Was she really that crazy for him? Did she really love him? It made him sick to his stomach to think of that word. Love. He had never been truly in love, he had relationships, but never love. He did love he
Tali stared down at her omni tool, making sure the drive core was normal after the hell that the ship had just been through. It was fine, for the most part, at least. She coughed a little, reminding her of the "meeting" that she and Shepard had just before the end of the mission. She was surprised that she wasn't even more ill. Of course, being ill was part of the experience, if you were a quarian. She knew that she would eventualy adapt to Shepard, though.
"Do you require assistance, Ms. Tali'Zorah," EDI asked, hearing her cough.
Tali was startled by the sudden question.
"No, thank you, EDI," Tali replied, looking up at the hologram.
Shepard looked up at the Galaxy Map. After the defeat of the collectors, it seemed like there was a ridiculously small amount of things to do in the universe. After all, he had finished his mission, leaving him without a feeling of purpose. For the time being, he was just an ordinary citizen of the galaxy.
"Hey, Shep", Kasumi said, stepping through the elevator door.
"Oh, hey, Kasumi", Shepard replied, looking up at her.
"Whatcha up to?"
"Oh, nothing."
"Wow, sounds boring."
"Yeah."
"Can I help?"
"No."
"You're sure?"
"Yes."
"So, I can help?"
"I didn't say that."
"You said yes."
"No, I said yes, I was sur

Who has two thumbs and is pissed about Mass Effect 3's ending. This guy. Seriously, I need some Baby's Butt Aid on the double. Why couldn't they give Shepard a happy ending? ...LAJSDLJASLKDFJLASKDJF
